David and Jess’s story began in the summer of 2019 during Covid and Graduate School in an unexpected place—a Dead by Daylight game lobby. What started as a chance encounter quickly turned into something much more. Through countless gaming sessions, virtual movie nights, and long phone calls that stretched through the summer and fall, their connection grew stronger with each passing day.

Before long, David made the trip to visit Jess, finally meeting in person not only Jess but also many of the friends they had come to know online. That visit confirmed what they already felt: what they had found was something special.

On Christmas Day in 2019, David asked Jess to be his girlfriend, marking the beginning of a beautiful new chapter together. Since then, they’ve shared countless memories, adventures, and milestones—and now they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of their story with all of you.
